Acne
Prescott ‑ Prescott Valley ‑ Cottonwood
Acne is a disease of the sebaceous oil glands in the skin and causes changes ranging from blackheads and pimples to large, destructive cysts. It is common in adolescents when the sexual hormones undergo production, but onset is sometimes delayed until adult life.
Acne is largely influenced by hereditary factors, and is not caused by poor hygiene or a fat-rich diet. Acne is unsightly, sometimes painful, may result in permanent scarring, and often adversely affects self-esteem. Various medical treatments improve appearance and reduce long-term scars.
We also provide a variety of in-office cosmetic and laser procedures.
