Basal Cell Carcinoma

Prescott ‑ Prescott Valley ‑ Cottonwood

Basal cell carcinomas are the commonest form of skin cancer and usually present as a sore that won’t heal. BCC is not life-threatening, but by continued erosive growth can cause significant destruction on the nose, eyelids, ears, lips, face and neck. Early recognition and proper treatment (usually surgical excision and repair) are keys to appropriate care.
